I came to this profession later in life after years of sucessfully working in the public and private sectors of business as well as years of challenging life experiences. I am honest, loving, direct and non-judgmental; with a calling to help others by bringing awareness to unknown causes of mental and emotional issues to facilitate change and healing. I work with children, adults and seniors. I am skilled in dual diagnosis treatment and spent three years working in the field of substance abuse and am highly qualified to work with those suffering from addiction. I am professionlly trained in Somatic therapy used for healing trauma and PTSD. The aim of Somatic therapy is to help the client lesson the automatic responses to unpleasant triggers by developing a window of tolerance that is acceptable, manageable and grounded in the mind and body. I have experience working with children in elementary through high school and am trained in play therapy techniques for working with young children.  I have experience working in hospice with those actively dying and help those suffering from grief due to death or loss of any kind. I work with all human beings regardless, of age, race, gender, sexual orientation, mental illness, religion, or cultural background. All are welcome (individuals, families, children and couples).
